Slide right foot back to make ready stance (pyeonhi sogi) with right downward hammer fist strike (oreun me joomeok naeryo chigi).

Note: The description of the pyeonhi sogi may vary depending on the sources:
1. both feet should face forward, placed one foot apart from each other (similar to joonbe sogi)
2. one foot should be placed at a right angle to the other
They are both acceptable. Please check with your instructor for the corrrect stance at your school.
