Turn 90 degrees to the left by shifting the left leg and pivoting on the right.
Move into left short stance (wen ap sogi) with left outside backfist (wen deung joomeok bakkat chigi).
Note: The stance in this movement may vary depending on the sources. Older WTF textbooks would state that this stance should be pyeonhi sogi rather than ap sogi. They are both acceptable. Please check with your instructor for the correct stance at your school.
